FAQs

  • As soon as possible! Most brides start booking their vendors 8 months to a year in advance.

  • Yes! I am on-location and have a home studio for clients to come to.

  • To secure your date in my calendar, a $140 booking fee for parties 4 and up and signed contract are required. For appointments for parties of 3 and under I require a $65 deposit and signed contract. Since I run on a first come first serve basis, I do not hold dates without them. The booking fee is separate from other costs.

  • Though it isn't required, it's highly encouraged to ask everyone who may want makeup done before booking. This helps to avoid any further back and forth and additional changes to the contract/timeline. If there is someone who is unsure, let me know how many people are 100% and we can try to add any one else later.

  • If you are undecided or have gone with someone else, please let me know. I won’t be upset! If I do not get a response from you, I will remove you from my list and your appointment will be cancelled. This also goes for my confirmation emails. If I do not get a response, your appointment is cancelled and you will not get your deposit/booking fee back.

  • Yes - you can book a trial before committing. But previews do not hold your date and someone else may be able to snag the date if they're ready to pay the booking fee and contract signature.

  • I recommend having a preview within 3 months of your wedding for a couple of reasons:

    1. When the seasons change, so does your skin. So having your preview within 3 months of the wedding ensures that we will be using the proper skin prep.

    2. Your style may change. If you have your preview too far in advance, you may want to change your look based on new personal preferences.

*If you are going to self tan for the wedding or have a tan, please try and do so for your trial as well. This will just ensure that you get the full idea for your wedding day *

  • For weddings, I allot 60 minutes for each makeup application. To my brides… Distractions such as phone calls, questions from your group, stress/nerves, etc. all happen on your big day. This is also usually the time where your photographer/videographer come in to do beauty shots (if booked with them) so they may ask where you jewelry, dress, invites, etc. are. Try and have someone designated to take care of those things for you while you are getting your makeup done. This just makes sure that you have a relaxing morning.

I do the brides makeup in the middle or second to last to ensure that it is the most fresh for the day and pictures. This is also usually when the hairstylist likes to finish the brides hair as well. Please find out how long your hair will take and what your hairstylist plan is so we can work together on not be stepping into each others time zones.

  • I exclusively offer full face services. This will help achieve a cohesive makeup look! Now, a full face doesn't have to mean full glam and a lot of makeup! I customize each and every makeup application to the clients comfortability, skin type, and so on.

  • At this time, airbrush makeup is not offered in my services.

  • No I do not, but can recommend some amazing hair stylists!

  • I began my nail journey back in 2020, practicing with different products and techniques on myself and friends and family. I officially received my basic manicure certificate in 2021, and just recently my gel extension certificate in 2024!

  • In Ontario, Canada you don’t legally have to have proper education or a license to service nails. When I learned that I knew that is not the path I wanted to follow. I’ve always been dedicated into learning all of the health and safety protocols with everything I do. When you book with me, I can guarantee that you will have fresh, clean, and new tools used for your appointment.

  • No. And not only because I hate the smell. But also because of the benefits a structured gel set provides. Gel is more flexible and more durable than acrylic. If you hit your nail or slam it in a door, the gel will be able to flex with the impact and prevent severe damage to your nail plate like acrylic can.
